Thank you for sharing what’s been on your mind lately Donna, this was great to read. The pond photos are absolutely beautiful and I hope that you’ll share with us should you decide to dust off your tap shoes.
As someone who posts on Substack, I am not a writer. I have no desire to monetize or make a living from my newsletter, I use it as a way to share what’s bringing me joy and hear the same from others. Nothing more, nothing less. So yes I value and need readers and all I ask is that they share an occasional note about something that might’ve resonated with them.
I enjoyed all of the threads here! Your tree and water reflection photos are gorgeous. I bet that view (while maybe not as colorful) must be wonderful to observe throughout the year. I love the note about “quotidian.” (And thank you for the shout out.) It is such a great word. I look forward to seeing the weaving as it moves forward. What are you making?
Wonderful. I hope you enjoy the methodical nature of the process. Here's irony.... do you happen to get the Dictionary.com word of the day email? I am working, and I just was looking through email, and the word of the day today.... quotidian. Bizarre, right? (I just saw it and had to come mention it to you.)
Hi Donna, you may not think you are a writer, but this certainly was a fun read. I don't think of myself as a writer either, more of a fiber person who posts a bunch of photos separated by a few words. Looking forward to seeing more of your newsletters.
Enjoyed your post and your beautiful autumn reflections pictures.
I like you feel like an imposter here, never certain whether what I post is really of interest. I did however post a note this week that has received my most engagement and some new subscribers so now not feeling like I’m talking to myself

Thank you so much for your kind comments. I’ll be weaving a wall hanging for my living room/music room. I can’t wait to get going on it.
